Pikes Peak National Forest

"I have always been inspired by the posters and postcards designed by the Works Progress Administration in the ‘30s and ’40s. Their graphic nature and masterful use of color have always influenced my work. I am also fascinated by collectibles and the people who accumulate collections. I began creating these small-scale original works of art that captured the spirit of the Parks and could be collected and kept as a memento, much like an actual stamp or postcard.
