Howdy!
I'm Danika Ostrowski, a scientific illustrator focused on making complex science clear, engaging, and accessible. I create educational illustrations for a range of audiences, from researchers and students to patients and the general public.
I hold a BS in Visualization and an MA in Scientific Illustration, with training in anatomy and visual communication. Originally from Texas in the United States, I now split my time between the US and the Netherlands and I work with clients around the world.
I approach each project with curiosity, first understanding the science and identifying what the audience needs to take away, then developing a visual solution that is both scientifically accurate and engaging.
I love collaborating with people who are passionate about their work and excited to share it with others. If you have a research project or scientific story that could use some visual thinking, I’d love to hear about it!
