The idea that I was going to take a week off from working was a complete joke! I am just too busy for that. I did, however, manage to take my studio outdoors for a few days. The weather here in Austin was absolutely fantastic last week! I went to Bull Creek Park, a lovely park tucked away within the city.
I was a little rusty at first, but I absolutely loved being outdoors and connected with nature again. I was missing that element in my creative process a few weeks ago. Glad these plein air paintings got me back with it and feeling inspired again!
