Week two has come to an end and I am already halfway through my time here.
I enjoyed exploring the park more this week and braving the snow to get some great photos.
Part of my residency includes a series of school visits, where I work with local students at the elementary and middle school level on a series of art lessons. I spent Wednesday and Thursday with these kiddos and they were so fantastic! We learned how to create depth in a landscape painting and I was thrilled with how well they caught on to the concept of atmospheric perspective.
