NEW WORK
Newest work has focused a lot on texture. I have been experimenting with different additives and acrylic mediums to create more dimension and texture to my pieces. I have been working on a smaller scale for these paintings and am really loving the outcome.
I also finished this large landscape from my Big Bend series.
ON THE EASEL
This week is all about my new mat-cutter! I have a very special helper (aka my awesome mother) with me this week helping me mat prints and small works on paper. My studio space has become so much more efficient with this new Logan Classic Mat Cutter.
Most of this week is being devoted to organizing and prepping for art fairs and festivals coming up in the next few months!

My painting Orange Bend is still on exhibit as part of the VAA 32nd Juried Open Exhibition at Williams Tower in Houston, Texas.
